This ancient olive tree is 1,000 years old, cared for by arborists at Pont du Gard, the Roman aqueduct that carried water to Nîmes, France. The bridge – and its natural, arid surroundings – are a UNESCO World Heritage site. For de Monte y Mar’s Tuesdays of Texture.
