CFFC: Grand Master’s Palace

This beautiful hall is in the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta, Malta, seat of the Knights Hospitallers of St. John, built in 1571.  It also served as the governor’s palace during British Colonial times, and now is the base for Malta’s government. For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Hallways.   

I did not take a particularly good photo (top of post) while we were there.  To do it justice, here’s a  tourism promo shot, so you can see the long perspective and the detail more clearly. It’s an exceptional building.
